Paragon NTFS for Linux is a commercial Linux kernel driver for rapid and transparent read/write access to NTFS volumes like to native file systems. The driver supports all NTFS versions - from Windows NT 4.0 to
Windows Vista. (To find more about NTFS for Linux, please, read
Solution Approach in Adobe® PDF format).
NTFS for Linux Standard Solution comes in two editions:
Personal Edition includes the fully functional NTFS for Linux driver with maximum performance and stability. It also offers useful additional recovery bootable CD with the build-in driver. Using this CD, you can boot your system and access NTFS and Linux volumes with read and write access - change configuration files, add any driver, retrieve important documents by writing them onto any removable media or a network share.
Professional Edition besides the components included into Personal edition, offers additional utilities that provide the ability to check integrity, defragment, wipe, create NTFS volumes, perform many NTFS file system related tasks, copy (backup/restore) files/directories, saving all their attributes, between NTFS and Linux supported file systems under Linux OS. Professional edition also includes Paragon LDM (Logical Disk Manager) driver - mechanism that controls the ability to mount all Microsoft Dynamic Volumes (simple, spanned, striped, mirrored and RAID5) under Linux OS.
